@kilikilishot that's the thing sir, in your case u can be objective even if hindi nyo favorite yung player, and that's what sets u apart sa ibang mga nag analyze ng game. Some people just thrive on negativity. yung "analysis" nila is actually just finding faults not looking at the game itself.

@kilikilishot Smb, bannered by jmf, has won 8 PH cup titles in 11 yrs, kaya mahirap tanggapin sa mga "experts" who are obviously fans of teams smb beat in the last 11 yrs. They cant fathom JMF's role is different when he plays for gilas he is not the mainman and he just plays w/in coach system

@kilikilishot Its likely lack of available choices, smb always have 3-4 imports every reinforced conference, rarely do they get the one on the first try, even boatwright and mccullough were replacements down the line when they won them the title

@kilikilishot Yeah converge has potential looks great on paper and adding abueva if trade gets approved would surely be a huge boost to their defense but i wouldn't classify them as top 4 right now. Just recently lost to ginebra despite twice to beat edge

@kilikilishot Feel bad for calvin, he's the only one who showed up in the first quarter for tnt. against any other team that would have been enough to turn the tide but smb just built differently

@kilikilishot Nobody stood out consistently the entire series, they all had their moments, Trollano crucial in G2, CJ won them Game 3, brondial/rosales key moments in G5, while JMF willed them in G6, w/ross on defense. JMF getting the first fernandez trophy is a great storyline indeed

@kilikilishot Agree! Where would smb be without the remnants of the Death 5 in this clincher - ross defense, lassiter's 3 (created that separation to finally doom tnt in closing mins) and of course MVP junemar.
PH Cup domination indeed, 8 titles in past 11yrs

@kilikilishot Bennie and chris mccullough both gave them titles... but for some reason never came back to play. Prob sa import conference i'd say 50% of your chance hinges on an import that has or will have chemistry w/ locals, kaya yung resident imports like rhj and brownlee very successful

@kilikilishot Also noticed this, 5 games in, that hardshow sa PnR action w/ JMF and smb still hasnt found a real solution against tnt's defense. They are getting by "average" numbers from JMF but imagine if they solved this defensive scheme. Still good for 3-2 lead so cant argue with that

@kilikilishot Imagine if ross is 100%, watching his movements probably just 80%, but good enough to lockdown players and deny them the ball.for rosales, was also wondering why he's not playing, pang game 5 pala. Expect physicality to be at its height in game 6, daming extra curricular kanina

@5peatsmb Oh man agree with you on this, remember the late game fouls called in game2?That's actual fouls being called but were let go by the refs entire game. Kaya tnt was complaining kse refs suddenly called the correct ones. The game will take more than 3 hrs if actual fouls are called

@kilikilishot Yeah too kind definitely, you dont help out the other team its the finals hehe especially if that person was leaving elbows everytime you go for a rebound. But also goes to show jmf doesnt let emotions get the better of him, big factor in a high intensity game

@BolimaDale But i agree with you still a series and tnt has tools, big men to contend with, they are not going away, and i hope smb gets to their killer instinct in Game 4, and ross status will also be a big question mark, they'll need him out there

@BolimaDale this was a 7-point smb lead with 3 mins to go. If not for oftana's 3 after several long offensive rebounds that bounced their way, it was an smb win. This could be 3-0 if smb got just one break in game1. Smb was 1-2 stops away from stealing the opener despite sub par game

@kilikilishot good observation sometimes JMF seems content just going through the motions, looking to pass instead of looking for his shot, which sometimes backfire, maybe still bothered by his shoulder injuries, which gets banged up everytime down the floor, always gets an extra hit inside

@kilikilishot JMF, CJ, Trollano, Lassiter didnt play well in G1, and that was a 2-point game in the end. Smb in G2 kept that lead to 10+. But smb seems banged up with the physicality if refs will keep the same no calls they will definitely be pushed to limit. TNT has size, strategy to matchup.
