Davido told Israel to go into his car twice but he didn’t listen. One lesson I’ve learnt about business of late is that there are two people you don’t employ;

1. Anybody you can’t arrest if things go wrong.

2. Anybody you can’t talk to and they’ll listen.

He even suggested his own car as an alternative for him instead of telling him to go sort himself out. It’s okay to be free and friendly with your staff, but boundaries and respect should never be misplaced.

The moment they start taking advantage of that access, you need to call them back to order. And if they find that uncomfortable or disrespectful, remind them that you’re their boss, you employed them.

Being a good boss doesn’t mean being a pushover. Business is business.
