@ManishaKrishnan To say that "I wasn't a fan" is not representing me accurately. I was echoing the other vegan you quoted. The photo of me in the article is literally me voting against having an issue with the branding. I showed up specifically to stand up for that, would like an edit.
@ManishaKrishnan I also said that I found a lot of the branding refreshing. This quote misrepresents the main message I was sending which highlighted the need for intersectionality and for veganism to be seen as a moral good if the branding is to be properly considered.
@ManishaKrishnan Can you please make an edit as I do not want to be represented this way. I did not vote against the branding and showed up and spoke with you at length after to stand up for the fact that the moral branding needs to be considered in it's full context.
@ManishaKrishnan I was misrepresented here. I did not say I was against the branding. I said that I could understand how it could be read as insensitive, but that the branding cannot be considered without recognizing animal cruelty as a moral issue and that I felt defensiveness hugely at play.
