@emilygburgardt I also have the “I’m back in elementary school dream” except I’m my current age-too old to be going to that school and I have to escape room style escape the elementary school. Once I found a group of other people who were currently having that same dream & also needed help

@EthanEHicks To clarify they aren’t asking each other they are asking me. And a slow trickle of emails every hour for three weeks now (two from administrators, the last week from students) is driving me insane.

@EthanEHicks I’m teaching an 8 week class now and it requires students to grasps concepts twice as quickly. Also, First time also teaching an online class. It’s good that students are expressing their expectation gap early on. That allows me to address it before it gets out of hand.

I hate online classes. I just sent out an announcement banning students from asking ,”what is the answer to this HW question”. They must now collect their questions and meet with me during virtual office hours. Around 40 emails like this the first week of class.
