There was no reason to reject Charlie's eTA, that's why they "reopened" to try and disrupt his travel.

There is absolutely no reason to prevent Charlie from entering the country. He is part of Restore Britain, not some terrorist cell. He has no criminal record. He will be in the country for less than 48hrs.

Foreign criminal flood in. Peaceful activists are blocked.

Their salary and funding is controlled by Ms.Horwath so I think the blame squarely falls on her. In fact her silence suggests she even wants the police to be her scapegoat

@katemckenna8 We all want the same thing our forefathers got-a stable wage that allows us to live comfortably (not luxuriously) and a chance at upward social mobility. Canada, although closer then many other countries, needs to fulfill this promise to all workers.

Lawyers funded by the Justice Centre have sent a warning letter to @AndreaHorwath and @HamiltonPolice after they attempted to prevent a political conference organized by @DominionSoc from taking place in Hamilton.

Mayor Horwath urged local businesses not to host the conference. Hamilton Police then asked the public to report possible venues to police, despite identifying no crime.

Constitutional lawyer Hatim Kheir said, “The City of Hamilton and Hamilton Police are using both direct action and their influence to exclude a viewpoint they disagree with from the entire city. This is unconstitutional and fundamentally at odds with the way a free and democratic society operates.”

The legal warning letter calls on Hamilton officials to cease and retract their actions and respect Charter freedoms of expression and peaceful assembly. 🇨🇦

@ChMark161 Honestly I am not upset with him. I think the orders came to him form elsewhere. I suspect people who devalue free speech and play favourites with certain ethnic groups have infiltrated our institutions into high positions
