Max grieves abuser Billy 8 months later. Dustin grieves Eddie, who he knew for 7 months, 19 months later. But nobody except Mike grieves El 18 months later, despite knowing her for 4 years. And even Mike’s grief is treated like something to move on from. Fuck that.
