I kept rebuilding it. Different angles. Different words. Starting over.

Eventually I just said the real thing.

People responded to that one.

Turns out that's the whole thing with Authentically You.

3 things that actually help on camera:

1. Look at the lens, not yourself in the preview
2. Talk to one specific person, not "everyone watching"
3. Record 10 seconds before you actually start — your face needs to warm up

The awkward feeling doesn't mean you're doing it wrong.
