The way the camera pans around Link, to then focus on his face is for me, one of the best shots in a video game ever.
It says so much without him saying a single word.
Then the atmosphere, the music, the storm and eerie scene, all so peak, I can't wait for the remake.
Oh these two pre-calamity...
Their overall annoyance, Zelda stressed of having him everywhere, Link tired of chasing her around, then starting to like each others presence, the slow burn to a sweet and unexpected romance that was build on shared experiences and understanding
Oftentimes I would genuinely stop running through the meadows or cover under something if it was raining just so he could rest, and in those moments I could feel how lonely and isolated his "adventures" would be. He only knew Zelda, and had no one else to go to besides her.
I feel botw/totk managed to give you that immersion unlike most zelda games, the music during nighttime, the rain, the chance to stop and have only some piano notes sound in the background. Man I missed those days of playing until 5am and having no worries.
