@JulianElford@goldstone_tony@gdcuk@Jack__Needham Taken the leap and took flexi retirement option on May 1st. Too risky to wait. @nhs_pensions a bit overwhelmed I believe and not meeting the 30 day statutory payment for many who took various retirement options from April
onwards
@gdcuk can you explain or point to article that explains how reg 9/41 is applied and would interact with salary linkage and best of last 3 for deferred ‘95 members looking to rejoin NHS scheme to flexibly retire from October? Happy to be DM and pay..
@Jack__Needham What about the ‘must be an active member as opposed to a deferred member with preserved salary linkage? Can you still draw down ‘95/2008 benefits if deferred less than 5 years without ‘retiring’?
@JulianElford@Tom_SkinnerBC Although you may (now) want to consider a SIPP (IHT potential benefits too) rather than putting in the 2015 scheme - unless you plan to leave it until 65+ to crystallise. ‘95 section will get revalued with September CPI if deferred so need inflation busting pay rise to improve
Ah got £7 billion for this but not £2 billion for NHS Staff?
