i’m a city fan and i’ve got no problem admitting that we’ve pushed the rules, bent the rules, and if the charges are proven then we deserve whatever punishment comes with it

but let’s stop pretending this is simply “city bad, everyone else is good”

the entire system is corrupt. anyone with a brain can see that.

the established clubs yk who they are spent years building huge financial advantages and then, once clubs like city, newcastle and others come along with the money to challenge them, suddenly the rules became about “protecting the integrity of the competition”.

this isn’t me saying city are innocent. idc

but im saying don’t pretend the rest of football is clean.

if city have broken rules then punish us fine. but don’t use those rules to make sure the same handful of clubs remain at the top forever.

because what’s the point of calling it “the most competitive league itw” if ambitious clubs aren’t actually allowed to challenge and grow?? brighton, newcastle, villa..

i’d rather see a system where clubs can invest, builf ,take riskjs and challenges w those established elite clubs. with proper transparency and genuine consistent rules for everyone
