@DrAmirKhanGP My daughter has absolutely loved learning about diwali this week and I would love to take her to the Temple to see/learn more about it. Do you think that would be ok?

When a woman with #COVID19 is too unwell to breastfeed, she should be supported to safely provide her baby with breastmilk if she wishes, in a way possible, available, and acceptable to her. This could include:
🔷 expressing milk
🔷 relactation
🔷 donor human milk
Hi @NHSEngland my sons nursery currently has an outbreak of hand foot and mouth. I’ve gone on your website to check for more info and surprise surprise, all the images of the children on your page are white. How do I know what I’m looking for if I don’t have an example? Do better
‘A fundamental mothering experience had been snatched from me’: Why we need to talk about breastfeeding grief
Brilliant to see this talked about in a wider context 🙌

@MollytheMidwife@CassidyCaitlin1@MollytheMidwife I understand the deficit, it's intolerable but the safety of midwives coming into an already super stretched, under supported and under resourced system where support for new midwives may not be as robust as everyone would like.
@MollytheMidwife@CassidyCaitlin1 The system is there to support as much as possible. Students have unlimited access to practice 365 days a year if they wish on the same platform that is used to undertake the examination. Unlimited.
@MollytheMidwife@CassidyCaitlin1 It does seem unfair but I wonder what the response would be when that same or similar mistake is made in practice when you're tired/busy with a mother and/or her baby with tragic consequences. This is real life and the exam is there to protect everyone.
The first Once for Wales preceptorship forum is taking place on the 1st November via teams. All NQM's in Wales are invited to attend to discuss your experiences so far. This forum is facilitated by the CSfM's and is a supportive environment for you to learn amongst your peers.
When will this staff crisis resolve😣 should have finished 8:30pm yet I didnt leave until 00:30am because it was a full ward and there was no midwife to take over from me. My poor family were worried where I was because I was too busy to look at my phone
