A bunch of angry spouses on social media believe that Grand Theft Auto 6's in-depth relationship mechanic is equivalent to cheating on your real life partner and worth breaking up over. https://t.co/JuNFBdStfR
This is what people are nostalgic about when it comes to games. They all miss when people weren’t good at the game and that’s why OG isn’t that much of a success bc everyone is still really good at the game so it just doesn’t feel the same
Can any of us *really* explain what was different back then? I guess things were simpler.
Each collab was unexpected. The Island was Fortnite, with the occasional cameo that impacted both gameplay and our lockers.
I just miss everyone sucking at BR equally. Can that come back?
As someone who had naked avatars when I played. There were times where it had been a bit since I played so switching to a avi I liked was genuinely a gamble bc idk if it’ll be naked or not
I always feel afterwards that I did something wrong but for the most part I genuinely don’t what or if I did something wrong, so I cope and move on until the cycle repeats itself a few months later
It’s always girl comes into my life we hit it off we could be great friends but we reach a point where I fully believe I could actually get into a relationship again then I’m suddenly rug pulled and the friendship suddenly becomes a we barely talk anymore.
Polymarket deleted their tweet because they wanted to stop the backlash they were getting for it.
I won’t let them.
Prediction markets, and polymarket specifically are disgusting sites who only exist because enough people lose money on them that it keeps them running.
The normalization of this website, especially within the League of Legends community, is one of the most alarming things that has happened in recent years.
League creators are getting paid hundreds, if not thousands per quote tweet, as well as 5 figure monthly salaries to promote them on stream and it’s at a point now where this is just accepted.
It shouldn’t be.
Prediction markets, gambling websites, and sports betting sites are willing to shill tens of thousands of dollars to content creators because they know the viewers of said creator will lose infinitely more than they pay for the sponsor.
How can this be okay?
Money, especially in this economy, is hard to come by. But throwing your viewers and the people who support you under the bus because you want to make a few thousand extra every month should inspire criticism, not acceptance.
Fuck Polymarket, and fuck the people who run the account for trying to use mine and my wife’s pregnancy announcement for their own benefit and everyone else’s demise.
