ARMY who are coming to LAS VEGAS for BTS please believe me when i say the sun here is no joke !! i am a vegas native, here are my tips for you.

when you go to line up or hang out at the stadium for the concert or merch shopping PLEASE protect yourself from the sun as much as possible.

we have absolutely NO humidity or cloud coverage here so that means the sun rays will not be dispersed at all before making contact with your skin. the sun WILL cook you like a rotisserie chicken, no matter the amount of melanin you have in your skin.

please BRING something that will provide shade for you because there will be like no shade at allegiant stadium. las vegas does not have big trees or grass like other cities btw.

you can bring UMBRELLAS as long as it’s under 12 inches in length when collapsed!

WEAR UV PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. a lot of people think that because it’s hot that wearing less clothing is the best way to go, that is not the case in the DESERT! you will get SUN POISONING and maybe even sunstroke. it’s very important you SHADE and protect yourself from the sun here! and not just with sunscreen.

HYDRATE BEFORE CONCERT DAY AND THE MORNING OF‼️ a lot of ppl don’t notice how dehydrated they are getting from being outside in las vegas because it’s so dry that sweat will evaporate off you so fast that you may not think your even sweating. hydrate with WATER not just electrolytes. if you come from somewhere that normally has a lot of humidity, hydrate even more then when you think you should be ok.

i really don’t want army to get sick before the concert and have to miss it so please be as prepared as possible!! DO NOT take the Las Vegas sun as a joke bc it WILL get you.
