I am deeply saddened by the passing of Hellen Nakimuli. This is a painful loss not only to her family and the people of Kalangala, but to all of us who had the privilege of serving alongside her in Parliament.

Hellen was a God-fearing, humble, and devoted leader who truly loved her people. She served with quiet strength, grace, and sincerity, always putting the needs of her constituents first. As a colleague and friend, I came to know her as a warm, respectful, and deeply committed public servant.

We did not see this coming, and it makes the loss even more heartbreaking.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family, the people of Kalangala, and the entire Parliamentary fraternity. May the Lord grant comfort and strength during this difficult time, and may her gentle soul rest in eternal peace .
