@Mario_Malkoun This is nonsense. The idea that an international bank would react or take action based on a phone call is not credible. they reach only based on facts...
As I read this, I’m thinking about how Lebanese people will perceive it. You repeatedly state that someone called a major international bank and that the bank acted based on that phone call. Are we really expected to accept this as credible? Do international banks typically take action solely on the basis of a telephone call?
From 2010 to 2024—and even before 2010—the government repeatedly approved funding to purchase fuel for Electricité du Liban in order to operate the heavy-fuel power plants. The electricity tariffs were never sufficient to cover the actual costs, yet no one objected at the time. All parties in government, including yourself, approved these expenditures. Therefore, the current statement does not make sense
Hello Nadine, No, he is not. It is my conviction that he should remain in prison permanently. As a key member of the presidential team, your perspective on this issue is particularly critical. I encourage you to articulate your views, as your influence is far-reaching and can significantly impact the outcome.
Please avoid defending what appears to be a purely political decision tied to party interests. Lakes worldwide typically have accepted levels of seepage; there are engineering solutions to reduce leakage further, but they are more expensive. Who conducted the analyses supporting this decision? Without lakes, Lebanon’s water security would be seriously at risk
@Eddy20115780816@Joe_Saddi@pamelaanehme There is no technical justification for an additional committee, as the Committee of the EDL already exists. This new layer simply adds unnecessary costs, such as excessive salaries.
@Joe_Saddi What are the key distinctions between 'this committee' and 'the committee of EDL'? I'm interested in differences beyond additional costs or salaries.
