Honestly, it felt like pure “location porn” — Sicily looked stunning and all it did was make me want to travel the world.
Beyond that, I couldn’t connect with the story at all. Too much sex, drugs, and relationship dynamics that felt completely at odds with my values.

Finished season one. Honestly, I wasn’t blown away—more of an “eh.” The promised social satire is barely there, if at all. But the visuals and nature are stunning. Its strongest effect is making you want to see Hawaii. Season two is set in Sicily—I’ll give it a watch.
