Full package DM, physical presence - pure ball winner (ground/aerial duels), can play lone dm controlling the tempo — shielding the backline, intelligent/press resistant MF.

I think Chelsea should sign Joel Ordonez from Club Brugge.

Perfect RCB/rotate well CCB, can play wide CB in a back 3. Has similar traits like Fofana but better on the ball. Also strong duel/aerial dominance, and composure in build-up what also is important.

People saying Bergvall should join Chelsea... He doesn't fit/system what Xabi Alonso wants.

Already said it earlier, Xabi sees Caicedo as an 8 not a real sitter (DM). That's why we need a type of Tchouameni/Bruno Guimarães.

I feel bad for his development. We all know, he has the abilities and potential to be TOP player.

He needs a better environment — willing to adapt. Cancelled the loan of Strasbourg made sense to move back to South America. But now this... Makes me worried.

Personally, I think Xabi Alonso will bring in a DM who can dictate and distribute the tempo of the game, while also being able to sit deep and provide cover alongside Moisés Caicedo.

I was thinking someone like Palacios of Bayer Leverkussen that Xabi really liked...

Ever since Maresca left, he hasn’t been the same player. Hato has looked much better in that position since January.

Sell Cucurella and bring Lewis Hall back to Chelsea please.

That’s it, we’re out of the KDB Cup. We lost both games: 0–1 against Genk and 1–3 against Ajax.

Despite the results, I’m proud of the effort and commitment the boys showed throughout the tournament.
