@DanEbs We also can’t have universal healthcare until we have universal drug coverage. Every day we have a customer who delays buying insulin because they don’t have enough money.
@KevinOConnorNBA Legit idea to fix tanking. Instead of current system, put non-playoff teams into a single elimination tourney after the season. Random seeded. Winner gets best odds in the lottery. Removes incentive to lose the entire season, adds TV and gate revenue for the whole league.
@levelsio@rrhoover It is very porous and traps dirt so impossible to clean. You have to use neutral ph soap on it which makes cleaning even harder. It’s also very soft so easy to dent. Looks like crap after only a couple years. And yes we put sealer on it and had it installed by pros
@bretthuneycutt@Wealthsimple Not a bug…. But let me open a RDSP with WS. Only 1 in 3 eligible Canadians take advantage and doing it with a trad bank is a huge pain. This popularion needs simpler access to investing for the future more than anybody
@fahdananta Numbers 1 and 2 are very dense in sugar, not sure they are really replacing dessert at anything but reputation. 3 is definitely a winner though
When you work hard on a problem that matters, good things happen.
@Endorhealth has been live for four months. We've grown by strong double-digits every month, and by the 15th of July we've already surpassed 100% of June's total revenue. 🤷♂️ 👀 🤷♂️
@_Behrouz@evansammccann@smart_nora I explored this idea too briefly, just decided I wasn’t the right one to build it. More daycare access + better earning potential for ECEs is an amazing outcome
@mike_natter As someone on MDI, fear of over bolusing is justified IMO. Easier to correct a modest high with a second, smaller injection than live the next few hours in fear of a low.
@BrandonMChu 100% true. I noticed it was harder than expected to re-start the engines for a new startup coming off of successful exit. Starting over is just so humbling, and it triggers a sort of autoimmune reaction by the ego. It gets better the more you keep at it.
This is very true. It's a lot easier to order cannabis or alcohol to my house than it is to get diabetes medication and supplies that keep me alive. At @endorhealth we're working to change this, brick by brick.
How many hours a year do you think you’ve spent trying to get doctors to write/refill/fix lifesaving prescriptions and the insurance company to approve it?
So tired of this type 1 diabetes game!
To those who have tried us out so far, and those who are about to - thank you for your vote of confidence and your support for the future of diabetes care. If you're new to our mission, check us out at https://t.co/aCgiZm3Zs6
🚀 Product Launch Alert 🚀
I’m excited to share that @Endorhealth app is now available to the public in the Apple App store!
At Endor Health we are building a better, easier way for people living with diabetes to access prescriptions, supplies, care and funding.
Early customers deserve more appreciation than they get in startup discourse - without folks willing to take a chance on new products, innovation wouldn’t be possible.
@pitdesi I have T1 diabetes and from Canada. You can buy them here without a prescription. I was travelling in the US and my CGM stopped working, tried to buy a replacement from CVS and they wouldn't sell it to me. USA system gatekeeps dia treatment in ways that are hard to believe
@AlexMcIsaac333 I think it depends. There's either something to the idea, or the idea is closest to consensus. At an early stage, sometimes it's hard to know the difference
