I don’t think I’ve looked forward to a film this much in years. In two minutes I can see nods to Carl Theodor Dreyer’s Vampyr, Herzog’s 1979 adaptation and the paintings of Casper David Fredrich. I’ve loved everything from Eggers upto now and this looks cinematically sublime

RIP Timothy West. He was a fantastic actor, with years of incredible roles under his belt on stage and screen but for me it’s all about Roald Dahl’s ‘Royal Jelly’ from the Tales of the Unexpected series.
