ARE WE STILL LIVING IN A DEMOCRACY?
AIPAC, and other billionaire-funded super PACs, are preparing to spend tens of millions of dollars to defeat Dr. Abdul El-Sayed in the Michigan U.S. Senate race.
Why are they so determined to defeat him?
As a doctor, he believes in healthcare as a human right. He knows firsthand that our current healthcare system is broken and that we must pass Medicare for All.
As a taxpayer, he understands that we should not be spending over a trillion dollars on the military and billions of dollars supporting the genocidal Netanyahu government in Israel.
As a supporter of working families, he knows that we have to raise the minimum wage to a living wage and make it easier for workers to join unions.
Whether it is AIPAC, AI or crypto, billionaire-funded super PACs will spend unlimited amounts of money to undermine democracy and defeat candidates who stand with working people and challenge their power. We cannot allow them to succeed.
And that is precisely why we must do everything in OUR power to elect Abdul in the Michigan Democratic U.S. Senate primary on August 4.
They have the money. We have the people.
Let’s stand together and win.
AOC has spent her career taking on the powerful on behalf of everyday people, and she has shown all of us what courageous, smart, values-driven leadership looks like. I'm deeply honored to earn her endorsement. Onward to victory.

@HunterBagman@EricLDaugh They only initiated their redistricting when trump pushed for it. Regardless, when they redrew their maps, they did so in a manner which would give republicans a ridiculous upper hand, ergo democrat controlled states responded in kind.
@RepPeteStauber will go down as the man who destroyed the BWCA for a quick buck. Not a single copper sulfide mine has gone without a spill. And even a small spill from the proposed (foreign owned) mine will irreparably damage the watershed for generations. Good job, Pete.
America has the best labor and environmental standards in the world. We do it better here than ANYWHERE.
I'm thankful that my resolution to end Biden's illegal mining ban in Minnesota passed the Senate and is on its way to President Trump's desk.
Never again will a politically-motivated Democrat administration be able to wave away our way of life at the stroke of a pen.

To insinuate the area in which this building is located is “inhospitable” is laughable. Both high and low density housing literally a block away, on top of the local YMCA right next door, and consumer shopping areas not much further.
Dr. Oz is a known deceitful asshat.
🚨 BREAKING: Dr. Oz and Jim O’Neill said they discovered a former linen factory in Minnesota that was converted into 400 Medicaid businesses, generating nearly half a billion dollars. 🤯
@SenatorSlotkin@SenGaryPeters Please do not cede any ground to the republicans. Their promises mean nothing and they will continue their assault on the lower and middle class. Vote No tonight.
An end to the shutdown is in sight. A senior Dem Senator tells me there will be more than enough Democrats to vote in favor of re-opening the government tonight. They’ll get a promise of a vote on health care — but nothing more. Most of the Democratic leadership will likely vote against it.
@RepMrvan Why are you hosting these conversations in the middle of a workday?? The vast majority of the working class people in NWI won’t be able to attend these conversations and their voices deserve to be heard.
@LEGarzer @AGToddRokita You are wrongly framing sexual orientation as a symptom of trauma rather than a natural part of human diversity. Research doesn’t support this.
Orientation isn’t something to ‘heal’ but to understand and respect. Celebration isn’t avoidance; it’s affirmation.
@LEGarzer @AGToddRokita I don’t know how many queer people you know, but the vast majority that I know do not make their sexuality their entire identity. Sure, it’s a part of them, but they have countless other things that make them who they are, before their sexuality.
@LEGarzer @AGToddRokita All this does is it removes the one place where these queer kids feel they can be true to themselves. It is not forcing an ideology onto them, it merely signals that they are safe from hateful rhetoric.
