Spotify paid out a record-breaking $9 billion to the music industry in 2023. But I got a lot of questions on if this only benefits the big artists. The answer: nearly half, $4.5bn was generated by independent artists. This is a major shift for the industry, showing the changing landscape. What's cool about the Free Market is how the economy spirals out of control every few years and as a result we are all assured that we have to sacrifice and give some extremely wealthy people a bunch of money for some reason.
That a technology which assembles words without any notion of meaning is enough to make people think AI is real raises questions about non-artificial intelligence.
