Maybe next time tell them you just discovered several NAS racks approaching saturation. Immediate action is needed to move the files offsite in order to prevent the floor from collapsing under the weight of all that data. It is intricate, painstaking work. Because these are mostly legacy systems and you are the only one who knows the old byte alignments, you will have to do the work alone and undisturbed. Might take a week or two.

@elonmusk I saw the movie. It was an unsparing look at the Civil War south. None of of the main characters came looking good. Rhett Butler’s (Clark Gable at his best) famous line at the end was the film’ s final judgement. But you have to be capable of humanity to see this.
