@Ian_Wafula@KWSKenya Most importantly, you as an aviator, pose a risk to fellow airmen if you flew your drone on a flight path/approach.
Imagine if your drone was hit by a low flying aircraft? Risk to life, animals, property? You had a good idea, just bad execution.
@Ian_Wafula@KWSKenya 1. If you are a licensed drone operator you were taught this in Air Law. You know where to film, and where not to. And what to do if you need to film in NNP.
2. To film within KWS Park, you need an permit and authorisation from BOTH KWS and KCAA + a letter of no objection /1
@Ian_Wafula@KWSKenya 6. Those KWS officers (who I dare say were very nice to you) are within the law to confiscate the drone.
You can get it back after presenting your permit/paperwork/licenses.
They have a right, in law to prosecute you for contravention.
3/
@Ian_Wafula@KWSKenya 3. You need to pay the prescribed fees for drone filming to both KWS and the permit from KCAA.
4. You must have a valid license to fly from KCAA.
5. You cannot film Langata Barracks - Protected Area Cap 204 2/
Game recognizes game 🤝

After SS1 of Safari Rally, WoRDA-affiliated WRC drivers are sticking to their guns and either saying nothing or only speaking in their native language at stage ends 🤐
Ott Tänak has some advice for the stage-end reporters in Kenya 😅
This man @AnwarSidi is a national treasure!!! He maps out all the Rally Routes, creates maps for crews, produces dashcams for every square inch of the 380kms of the competitive sections, produces the Media Safety Guide and the Spectator Guide and still finds time to take award winning photos at MITI MBILI.
Asante Anwar for your dedication to the WRC SAFARI RALLY. @OfficialWRC@TGR_WRC@SafariRallyWRC
@WillyAbuga Between this and the Subaru Eyesight system which works better?? I'd like you to try the Subaru under the same conditions, same road, at night etc.
@ericwarutere@jumaf3 The were then later run together by Block Hotels in the 90s. There was also a prominent family in Nyeri that acquired them, but my info is scanty/hazy, can't quite remember.
@ericwarutere@jumaf3 They were both built by the same guy, Maj Eric Sherbrooke Walker in late 1920s. The treetops today was the second tree house he built for his wife Betty who loved them.
The first one was burnt down by Maumau. Betty and Queen Elizabeth II were best friends before Liz became Queen
