I work in Medical Affairs. I chase data for a living.
But I've learned that the most important things in life can't be measured.
I write about MedTech, faith, and what a camera lens taught me about seeing people differently.
Glad you're here. 👋
Purpose of the Five-Fold Ministry?
“To equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.” (Eph. 4:12)
The goal is not celebrity leaders.
The goal is a mature Church.
Teacher
Teachers explain and apply God’s Word accurately.
They strengthen the Church through sound doctrine and biblical understanding.
Their focus is truth.
Pastor
Pastors are shepherds.
They care for, guide, protect, and nurture believers, helping them grow in spiritual maturity and faithfulness.
Their heart is people.
Evangelist
Evangelists have a special burden for the lost.
They proclaim the Gospel clearly and effectively, helping people come to faith in Christ.
Their passion is souls.
Prophets speak God’s truth to His people.
They encourage, exhort, correct, and help the Church discern God’s direction.
A true prophet points people toward God, not toward themselves.
1️⃣ Apostle
Apostles are “sent ones.”
They pioneer new works, establish churches, provide spiritual oversight, and lay foundations for others to build upon.
Their focus is vision, mission, and expansion of God’s Kingdom.

3/ Law 3: Conceal Your Intentions vs. Proverbs 10:9
This is where they violently split. Greene advocates for smoke screens. Solomon warns that hidden agendas always leak.
Greene: "Use deception to throw people off."
Solomon warns that toxic anger is highly contagious. Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person... or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared." (Proverbs 22:24-25)

1/ Law 4: Always Say Less Than Necessary.
Greene says silence keeps people defensive and insecure.
Solomon says it’s just basic self-preservation.
"Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues." (Proverbs 17:28)

Robert Greene’s "48 Laws of Power" teaches amoral survival.
The biblical Book of Proverbs teaches moral wisdom.
Yet, both observed the exact same human flaws 3,000 years apart.
Here is "The 48 Laws of Power" rewritten by King Solomon. A thread 🧵👇
