Iqaluit (Nunavut, Canada) has fuel contamination in their drinking water supply. How is the whole country not talking about this.

A case of bottled water when I was there 3 years ago was $75 for 24 bottles. Please be safe #Iqaluit.
Ladies and gentlethems, we give you the REAL stars of Fat Bear Week...the salmon.
At @KatmaiNPS in Alaska, salmon are the lifeblood of a fertile coastal ecosystem. At Brooks Falls, the salmon must run a gauntlet of hungry bears before proceeding further inland to spawn.
Fall is here and with it salmon are returning to rivers and streams across BC to do what they do best... spawn and die.
Check out @PSF's new 'salmon spotting' page to find areas close to you where you can see salmon spawning in rivers.

Any aspiring about-to or just-graduated undergrads want to partner up for some #WolfResearch [next spring/summer] with my team? Let's talk! DM or email works. https://t.co/o9XvyPsXz8
I watched this mural honouring #MMIWG take shape in my community over the summer. At a time with so much division, it feels like a beacon of hope and love.
You can read about the two-year process for creating the piece in my most recent for @TheTyee.

I actually really encourage settlers to donate whatever they make on the 30th from their paid holiday to Indigenous groups in their area if you can afford it. Why is it that you get a paid holiday while our families still grieve our loss of languages, culture and family?
