@reichan_alt Yes! Honestly I think the only reason people think that is because it’s wvvx. As a sect leader, lxc is sheltering someone who has killed many members of his sect. His mother was going to be put on the execution block for less. That’s crazy impartial, esp without reader knowledge

lxc is not a hypocrite for calling wwx a mistake in lwj's life. lwj went against his clan over wwx. he arguably committed treason against the jianghu over him. that is an infraction. lxc didn't do anything that would make jgy his "mistake" let alone to that degree.

if he backed jgy up knowing he committed some huge crime while also turning against his family/the jianghu, sure, call him a hypocrite. but he didn't. "my perfect little brother turned on the rules for the only time in his life and paid the price for it" is not a hypocritical statement coming from someone that denounced his bestie the moment his crimes came to light.
