"And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month.
@RiviasHunter Oh pretty! Our flowers have struggled. The ground has been so dry. The stubborn plants came through, lilies, most of the roses bloomed small but there, the hollyhock were insane. Now things are starting their downward swing.
Hope you are well, my friend ๐
This is such a relaxing composition. Problem is it makes me think of Shrek ๐คฆโโ๏ธ

@RiviasHunter Good afternoon my friend ๐
We have had many days recently of very high temps with high dew points. It does look like we are getting a break for a few days, a good soaking rain would be nice though, everything is so dry. We're doing our best to keep our plants happy.
@RiviasHunter Sorry for the delay in reply, I've been everywhere and nowhere as of late.
I don't have a lot of luck with indoor flora myself, the Thanksgiving & Christmas cacti are about my limit there. We did have some happy blooms outdoors this last week... a couple lily variety & sunflower
@RiviasHunter Good evening my dear friend ๐ mid-season bloom is well underway. I have yet to see any zinnia, however, the hollyhock and lilies are vibrant and fragrant. The hollyhock pictured was a transplant that is in a bloom year. The lily is new to my garden this year. My histamine, mad๐
Even the longest nights must bow to the dawn,
for darkness was never meant to reign forever.
And sorrow too, no matter how deeply it settles in the soul,
quietly learns that it cannot stay where hope still breathes.

@RiviasHunter Good evening dear friend of mine. Gardens are finally getting decent weather here. Iris bloomed. Roses are blooming. Sweet William popped up and is delightful. Hollyhocks are already as tall as I am, soon to bloom. Lilies of all variety are getting close. Official summer Sunday๐
@RiviasHunter Do love hummingbirds. They should be here very soon. We have finally warmed up enough the plants are mostly safe on the overnights. That means my annuals will get to go in the ground this weekend. We've discovered we have wild violets, those have been a nice for the early bees.
I just noticed that the tulip we transferred actually survived. I've been so busy I haven't noticed much the last couple of weeks. This was a nice surprise. Now to buy more colors ๐งโโ๏ธ
@RiviasHunter Its certainly warmer than January, but still feels like 30s with the way the temps and wind have been. We did have a good spike in the 60s over the weekend, which meant I could move my brush pile and make it more manageable. Found a couple iris underneath, so thats exciting ๐
@RiviasHunter Well, sadly our overnights have been on the line of freezing, and our days are maybe reaching the 50โฐs... which means no gardening yet. Some of the bulbs are pushing through, the tree leaves are opening, but not much else is safe from frost yet. We'll get there.
@RiviasHunter Good evening ๐
Our temps have been up and down so much recently. I have noticed my iris pushing up, as well as a couple lilies. It will still be a handful more weeks until we can expect much more. Have a wonderful night.
@RiviasHunter We had gotten freezing rain, nothing turned to snow. Thankfully that all cleared out now. We have been having some intense wind recently, causing too cold to be that much worse. We keep telling ourselves, a handful more weeks. Its is still only April. ๐ ๐
