Imo the better career move for Diomande is PSG by a lot. Madrid have way too many big names at this point and he wouldn’t even be playing in his natural position. Sure it could work out, but I think going to Madrid is a lot more riskier.
That being said I think he prefers PSG and it’s just up to how much each club will be willing to pay. I also don’t think it’s worth it for Madrid either, overpaying for Diomande when you can’t play him in his natural position. Idk just seems very risky
1.) Doue x Dembele x Kvara
PSGs front 3 is often rotated a lot, but Enrique has pretty much always made sure of these 3 starting in the biggest matches. The chemistry between them is pretty much flawless and it’s rare for all 3 of them to have a bad game. I think Kvara and Dembele carry Doue a bit, but they all have a big role regardless. Dembele also is able to position himself perfectly around Kvara and Doue, making it look so easy to find him in the box. I definitely think this is the best front 3 in europe.
3.) Semenyo x Haaland x Doku
Adding Semenyo to this front 3 was a great decision imo. Doku and Haaland are already an elite duo, but they both specialize in certain things. Doku mainly creates, dribbles to cut inside and basically give the ball to Haaland. Then Haalands main job is just position himself perfectly and finish. His hold up play has progressively gotten better as well, but still his main job is getting in position to finish. Then adding Semenyo to the team, he can do both but not as good. Kinda creates a perfect balance for the front 3 and makes it pretty hard to pocket everyone.
2.) Diaz x Kane x Olise
Even tho Diaz only played a season with Kane and Olise I think they’re so good together that I have to have them 2nd. Kane is perfect for Olise and Diaz to have in the box, and is also great in dropping back in order to split the defence and create opportunities as well. Then you have Olise who is arguably the best playmaker in the world right now, making his connection with Kane just deadly. Lastly you have Diaz, who can’t create as much as Olise or finish like Kane but he’s still great at both and such a well rounded winger. Comfortably 2nd imo.
4.) Raphinha x Ferran x Yamal
With a world class striker, it’s not an exaggeration to say this would be the best front 3 in the world. However while Ferran isn’t terrible, he’s nowhere near the level of Lamine or Raphinha. But honestly just having Lamine and Raphinha is enough to at least be top 4, the connection between each other is also perfect. Even the chemistry with ferran is great, it’s usually just missed chances that ruin many attacks.
5.) Vini Jr x Mbappe x Rodrygo
Very hard to rank this front 3 with the RW position kinda unknown. But with everyone on Madrids roster, I still think this is the best front 3 they have. The chemistry honestly isn’t there yet, but individually you have arguably the best player in the world and arguably the best winger in the world. You also have Rodrygo who honestly plays well with Mbappe, maybe not world class but still a top player. 5 is probably fair but they could be a lot higher if they figured out a way to play to each others strengths.
rodri wasn’t even remotely close to the ballon dor until the world cup, he was good for city but nowhere near deserving of the ballon dor. Mbappe plays for real madrid and won legit nothing, based on that unless he broke some insane records he can’t win. With olise it’s a better argument but you can’t give olise the ballon dor when kane plays on the same team imo. Haaland wasn’t good enough in the club season to win either imo. I think based on club season alone Lamine was on the same level as everyone you mentioned or better apart from kane and olise. But lamine won the world cup at the end of the day, even if he didn’t play a big part
The ballon dor has to go to Kane the more I think about it. And if it doesn’t go to him, the only player considered should be Lamine. Any other guy like Mbappe, Rodri, etc etc would be nothing but a robbery imo
I’m not really sure where to go from here, on one hand I think Brazils squad on paper just isn’t the best to be playing with eachother. But at the same time there are several teams who are much worse on paper and play much better football. I think management plays a big part in this but since it’s Ancelotti, no one wants to admit it. I’m not sure where they could find another option but I don’t think he’s the man if Brazil want to get back to their best again. Unfortunately I can’t see them getting better anytime soon. But they do have a very young and promising generation coming up, so only time will tell.
Casemiro who’s respectfully washed, he has his moments so maybe washed is an exaggeration, but compared to other midfielders he’s very average. Bruno G, who’s a great midfielder but he’s more of a box to box player and doesn’t typically have an impact on controlling or dominating the midfield. Then they have Paqueta, who used to be better but even then, just still nowhere near the quality needed to show out against top teams let alone Norway or Morocco.
