You are right. One day, my son came home early after riding bikes with his friends. My wife and I asked why he was home so early since he still had about an hour to play. He said he fell off his bike and didn’t want to ride again.

My wife said to me, “You see why he shouldn’t play outside or ride bikes like that? It’s dangerous.”

I told my son, “Okay, let me see your wound. It’s quite bad, so let’s bandage it and stop the bleeding. I’ll give you pain meds. Relax today, and tomorrow you will go out and ride your bicycle again.” I explained that as a boy, we learn from pain and don’t back down because of it.

Today, he happily went out to enjoy time with his friends riding bikes.

If left to my wife, as the protective mother she is, our boy would not ride bikes.

As a father, I have fallen many times and always gotten up to keep moving. My son needs to learn that too.

I was talking more about a trend of oversharing online, including one guy who came out to announce how he cheated on his wife and then plastered pictures of his children on the post. I don’t remember seeing his wife set ring light and couldn’t understand why he did it.

You make very valid points about the guy who claimed he was cheated on. Most especially, you totally understood my central point when you said: “I am of the belief that a man and his ex wife should be mature enough to handle their business privately, for the sake of protecting reputation, family name and avoiding stigma on the children (especially in the case of infidelity on the side of the ex wife).”

If a bad woman wants to move mad to destroy my reputation, I will not set ring light or go on a podcast but I will handle it such that she will be the one to come out and recant. As a man, when you and your children are attacked, you must always remind people of your capacity for EXTREME violence, and I don’t only mean physical violence.

Did you see when some guy set ring light and falsely said that Tony Elumelu’s 7 children are not his own and that his daughter had HIV or something? Did he set ring light? Did he even issue a statement? He handled it through proxies, ruthlessly and effectively. Like a Big Boy!

By the way, I understand that the wife of the guy you mentioned has said that he lied against her and has taken him to court, and that his lawyers have advised him to stop talking. That’s good.

A public officer has come out severally to say that he's not a thief.

And up till today, not one security agency has been able to refute that claim.

Peter Obi says he did not steal public funds, instead of those in power to use the instruments of power to prove him wrong, they resort to character assassination, bribery and weaponization of poverty.

If he's a thief, prove it and sue him to court and let him be jailed for being a theif.

You young Nigerians, you'll never see a man like Peter Obi in a very long time.

If he wasn't a threat to the corrupt establishment, they would not even bother discussing him on national TV, their platforms or through paid & hungry agitators.

Politics is not what I am known for.

I am an authority when it comes to relationships or marriages.

But political decisions or choices affect leadership.

And when leadership is poor, men and women are less interested in getting married and raising a family.

I have looked at all the presidential candidates that we have today, and I see that potential in the persons of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso.

I won't always discuss politics because I don't like it, and it creates enemies unnecessarily.

But I have seen a high level of poverty and shock in the numbers of persons that have been begging for money to survive from close families and friends.

And I know it's because of our economy.

An economy led by President Tinubu.

I have seen wives lose their husbands in a large scale like never seen before due to insecurity.

I have seen mothers and wives decide to prostitute themselves because they have to feed their children.

I have seen parents enable their children to go into fraud and prostitution because of our harsh economy.

I cannot continue to teach people on how to maintain a healthy relationship or marriage, while their pockets cannot sustain it and their children are hungry.

I want to promote someone that gives hope to the ordinary Nigerians and has a track record.

Do not be distracted by my political posts in recent times.

I am doing it because I am concerned with our future.

The suffering is too much for a country as rich as Nigeria.

And we have leaders who do not show empathy.

Rather, they politicize the level of insecurity and massive corruption as a political witch-hunt.

Greed and quest for power is the bane.

Poverty weaponization is the catalyst.

Religion and tribe are the result.

You young Nigerians must see these things for what they are.

Your mates in countries where they have elected good politicians are getting married very early and raising their families.

But you're still begging for recharge card, doing yahoo and olosho on tik tok and IG.

This is not the life that was promised to you by these greedy politicians.
