dem electeds are far too restrained w their comments against trump & the right, but these kind of moments expose the INSANE DOUBLE STANDARD liberal media places on dems. everyone knows trump is uniquely violent in his language. criticizing the pres is democracy, not incitement!
@washingtonweek@seungminkim I don’t know, a lot of voters I know don’t want an inept buffoon like Trump leading us into nuclear war as a ham-fisted attempt to gin up patriotism before the midterms. “But mah gas prices” shows we are always catering to the lowest common denominator.
Dismayed that the head of the @WashingtonPost comms team would post so disparagingly about our laid-off colleagues. There is so much solidarity and respect among and between those who remained and those who were cut. This is the opposite.
@LivPetersen@mimms Is there anything actually left to read with all the cuts? Sports? International? Metro? If you represent those they’ve kept, WaPo is indeed dead.
@LivPetersen What should be obvious is how callous it is that our colleagues who survived being purged -- (or illegally fired, as in my case) now have a new derogatory term for us who didn't -- "formers".
That is part of what is rubbing *everyone* the wrong way.
@cspan@David_J_Bier@SenJohnKennedy Kennedy is so gross and his words are beneath the office of a Senator. Fitting he is Trump’s lapdog, He will be remembered as a bootlicking, sniveling man.
