At bedtime on many nights, my daughter insists on climbing on my back and going up the stairs as a piggy back ride. So I end up doing a set of 50 lb weighted step ups, essentially.
Congratulations to #PennGSE’s Charlotte Jacobs (@charlottej_phd) on the launch of her new book, “Investing in the Educational Success of Black Women and Girls!” Now available from @StylusPub.
Sometimes teaching seniors in spring is a real struggle. But this morning I've read some drafts of culminating papers for seniors and to see them draw on things they've learned from multiple courses in a truly interdisciplinary way is just soooo satisfying 🤩
in a similar vein, I hope that we as adults can be understanding about how sometimes we might need to go back to masking as a common practice and sometimes we can relax that practice, depending on public health circumstances.
I thought they understood when and why masks might be necessary at some times but not at other times, but it seems harder for them to apply that lesson at an individual level rather than an everyone level.
