you can love yourself even when you mess up, make a mistake, or aren’t doing as well as you wish. love & praise is not just reserved for when you’re perfect & doing well. you’re allowed to loved yourself through it all. grant yourself permission.

"masusunog kayo sa empyerno"
Today, we watched the Barbie Movie. By the time we were done, we took a picture in the mirror in front of Nectar (it's closed rn July 20) at around 11:43pm.
A white car rolled it's front window & slowed down just to give us the "fuck u" sign 🖕 1/n
When something is not the norm, people are less likely to understand it. If it isn’t normalised, it isn’t something we’re likely to have been exposed to. We may even have had our minds poisoned against alternatives to what we know - by a culture we never consciously chose!
A reminder to religious ppl that oppression isn't an event (e.g. ama namin remix) but a system (e.g. marriage, sogie bill)
You can be offended, that's your right. But don't pretend that a drag queen's performance had any material impact on your ability to practice your religion.
Why polyamory awareness matters 🧵
Some people are monoamorous, some are polyamorous, and many would engage in some form of non-exclusivity (romantic or sexual) if that were culturally accepted as the respectable, ethical, safe and fulfilling choice it can be. 1/7
Your partner coming to you about something you’re doing wrong isn’t a personal attack. It’s a healthy sign they value the relationship and want to make it work – it's a heads up. You communicate, you fix it, you stay. That's emotional maturity. That's commitment. That's love.
Please stop attacking the past versions of you. They were doing their best at the time and they got you here. It’s amazing how much progress you’ve made and how much you’ve grown but please don’t think your past self lacked worth in any way.
“Oh darling,” he said, “you need to grieve the death of what could be so that you may live what is—there is death in creativity, but it’s how we birth ourselves out of fantasy.
and living a true life is the most worthwhile thing in this world.” —@jovaferreyra

disappointing na people switched sides agad bec of the videos, with one of them being obviously manipulated. queer people are expected to be in their best behavior ALL THE TIME no? to the point na kinalimutan na agad yung abuso at diskriminasyong nangyari sa isang trans woman

The Provincial Government of Laguna has approved Gender-Fair Ordinance with Resolution No. 635, Provincial Ordinance No. 8, s. 2023, aimed at providing a comprehensive protection against discrimination on the basis of gender.
Sa totoo lang, hindi si Awra, hindi mga kaibigan niya, at hindi ang mga alleged harassers na pinangalanan a few days ago ang panalo sa mga debate at retraction sa Twitter because of the CCTV footage.
Alam niyo kung sino ang panalo? Yung PNP. They can now justify their brutality.
Even if u disagree with Awra's actuations , KNOW YOUR RIGHTS during arrest and costodial investigation. Ang pulis hindi dapat kinakausap ang suspect na walang abogado ! Mga pulpol!
The CCTV footage does not really bother me. Because it does not change anything about the main point: How the PNP brutally manhandled Awra.
NOTHING, as in nothing, will justify such warrantless and atrocious arrest, in the same way that drugs are not a reason for cops to kill.
The video does not prove anything except that there was a trigger event inside the bar that caused her to chase for the guy. She is ANGRY.
That isn’t the face of someone who was shamed for being rejected — it’s the face of a woman offended and enraged.
