I’ve created an account for Milo’s adventures so if you would like to see what he gets up to throughout the day, follow along here: https://t.co/LKKrvBinhl
Recently I’ve read Is a River Alive? Robert Macfarlane takes the reader along with him on this epic adventure of witnessing three rivers; one saved from death, one dying, and one under threat.
Macfarlane’s writing is like nothing I’ve come across before - the poetic styling of his writing captures the imagination and forces you to look at nature and the world around you in a new light; i’ll never be able to look at a river the same way again.
Bride was a funny easy read which I enjoyed and it felt slightly nostalgic as it reminded me of the silly little romance/paranormal books I would read as a teenager.
Flowers for Algernon was a bit of a tough read for me due to the language used but I found it fascinating and I loved the way it was written through diary entries and the theme of intellectualism.
"em dashes are signs of ai" em dashes are the most deeply human dashes of them all—they are flexible and daring, the author's most versatile tool. crack open a writer's heart and watch an avalanche of em dashes spill forth. begone, o wretched beasts of code—fuck you.
The romantasy star has successfully crossed the aisle to traditional publishing, but she says it would never have happened without first building an indie author fanbase. 👇 https://t.co/F9nLrLqLHp
Nobel Prize-winning author Kazuo Ishiguro has joined calls for the UK government to “reconsider and change course” when it comes to AI, warning that “no one believes the proposed ‘opt-out’ system will work” 👇 https://t.co/LyrxOGHLzH
Page 500 Anna Karenina update!! I really like how the story is developing and the characters, everyone is still so dramatic and it’s like a constant gossip session - it does seem to go off in random unnecessary tangents but overall I’m still finding it fun.
As the international debate around fact-checking continues, many in the publishing industry are questioning how robust the UK publishing’s approach is to validating authenticity, apparently lagging behind the US system of peer-review 👇 https://t.co/nfq2aW1NQ6

Coming Nov. 4, 2025…@penguinrandom @PenguinRandomCA @PenguinRandomUK … the lives, the times, the books, the TV, the fun, the gloom, the catastrophes, the stupid things I shouldn’t have done, the semi-colons … and of course I dress like this every day.

Anna Karenina page 400 update: love how the perspective switches characters so you can really delve into what each person is thinking. The drama is so fun and I’m enjoying that aspect the most! I love getting to read about the sociopolitical climate of the time.
Iron flame re-read: I struggled with this book the first time I read it and I struggled with it again this time round. It’s just way too long and there are huge pacing issues. I also didn’t like the conflict within the romance.
Fourth wing was a re-read for onyx storm! I do really like this book; it’s quick without feeling rushed, insanely funny, the characters are engaging and the plot/fantasy world is interesting
