@richtabor The linking was originally almost meant to be like that, but then people wanted all those extra features like text field etc. 😅 Also been wanting for rich rich to be truly inline. Let’s make it happen? Perhaps a separate mode initially?

Hi @thekevingeary! How are you adding `Automatic.css`? I'm curious why it fails in the non-iframed editor (which is triggered when a plugin has blocks using an API v < 3). The editor is conservatively upgraded to be iframed, maybe we should try only removing the iframe as soon as an incompatible block is inserted, and show a warning to the user.

The final editor performance numbers for WP 6.5 are in: input processing (e.g. typing) is 5x faster and editor loading is over 2x faster! This is for both the post and site editors.

@riadbenguella @sinanisler Not much, but there’s definitely room for improvement. It’s one of the blocks that also slows down previews.

@marcoandrei @pedro_gaspar Most of it is WP I guess, so I could package the WP language packs. There's just a couple of notes related strings. The interesting thing is that Blocknotes is not a in the plugin repo. 🤔 Will have to publish it there even though its not very useful on its own.
