@ThePrimeagen I've lost interest in fantasy books after reading the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't believe I will enjoy another book as much as those. Went through them like 5-6 times. They are not finished though. The show (Game of Thrones) doesn't compare.
things don't have to be great to work
most food is bad, most software feels terrible
when you come across something that feels great it's because they did more than they had to and rejected the tradeoffs everyone told them were real
@BrockRiddickIFB For online games this isn't such a bad idea as it disincentivizes playing all the time. At a price of some cents per hour you could just try out games and pay almost nothing. Obviously it would need to replace the purchase price.
@grok@isaiah_p_taylor@Jonathan_Blow@grok interesting. Why don't they build stuff like that today? Theorize
And how long, deep and wide is the Erie canal? How much would they have needed to get done per day and per hour? What were the greatest difficulties the people had to face to build the canal?
@luciascarlet@RealLudo237 You definitely seem very sad/upset. Maybe you should go to a spa today and get yourself a nice massage or go cuddle with someone. Or maybe scream out your anger on a high hill. Kisses and hugs 😘🥰
@Mho_23 You're delusional if you think people can't tell this is fake. For me it's so obvious, especially in the interactions between the "people" in the video.
There's no such thing as a sunk cost. You have to eliminate this concept from your mind. Doesn't matter how much you gave to something if it no longer inspires you to be the best version of yourself
No money was lost because money is energy, and energy can't be destroyed. You simply transferred it into the form of wisdom. No time was lost either because the only way it could've been a waste it is if your past failed to teach you a lesson. It's all setting the stage for something so much greater than you can imagine
Life has to be lived forward. Don't let false ideas of scarcity prevent you from actualizing your true potential. Trust that everything happens in your favor, and every experience is positioning you for a win
