Former lefty but now think the whole left/right dichotomy is a distraction. What will never change though is my belief in freedom, equality and democracy.

First weekend of September 2026. I went to see Glass Tiger, a classic Canadian band, at East Park in London. One of their famous hits is "Thin Red Line". It is about Highlanders successfully holding out against a much larger Russian calvary charge in the Crimean War of 1854...

@AdamZivo Okay, Florence didn't make it after all. I saw her in concert in Toronto last April, and she has an amazing voice, but she doesn't beat out quirky Bjork, angry Alanis and the Queen of Pop for me. And maybe because I am an 80s kid, but my UK bands are The Cure & U2.

[Elle Fury @elle_fury]

@AdamZivo Oooh. I need to do this. Florence and the Machine & Radiohead might be on mine too...

This was hard. I can think of so many more that I would include if the list was longer. I think the reason these albums come to mind first is because I bought them in physical form (tapes, CDs).

Hey, ''Biolabs in Ukriane'' people. Where you at?

Clearly something suspicious was happening here and there can be no other logical explanation by your own standards, right?

Does Mongolia now have a right to invade Russia for this?

[Elle Fury @elle_fury]

@DerekPederson3 How do you know?

[Elle Fury @elle_fury]

@PawlowskiMario This goes well with a cup of coffee.

[Elle Fury @elle_fury]

@DerekPederson3 Good thing my husband didn't care. He said if he did, he'd be a hypocrite. Logical thinking is so hot.

I posted the lyrics to "Black Sheep" a day before the concert. Emily Haines chose to play it as the final song after waving to me in the crowd. We must be on the same wave length! This song originally came out on the day I met my husband in 2010. We were there to celebrate our...

Got balls of steal
Got an automobile
For a minimum wage
Got real estate
I'm buying it all up
In outer space

Now that the truth is just a rule
That you can bend
You crack the whip
Shape shift and trick
The past again

@Metric @canadalifeplace Such a good song. https://t.co/CWhZq5gCLB

@DerekPederson3 @ShitlibSupreme Okay, well, I don't think this case will be successful in criminal court, but I can see it succeeding in the civil case.

[Elle Fury @elle_fury]

@JPLindsley What about the truth that MAGA is an enemy of Ukraine?

[Elle Fury @elle_fury]

@DerekPederson3 @ShitlibSupreme Is there a criminal case being brought forward? I thought it was civil?

[Elle Fury @elle_fury]

@DerekPederson3 @ShitlibSupreme The crime is rape because the victim doesn't have the mental capacity to consent to sex once high/inebriated.

[Elle Fury @elle_fury]

@DerekPederson3 @ShitlibSupreme Didn't one of them post on social media that there was "free pussy" available? Did this happen before or after she was drunk and high?

[Elle Fury @elle_fury]

@DerekPederson3 @ShitlibSupreme I honestly haven't had time to look into it in detail, but my initial impression is that she did not /was unable to properly consent to the additional males who entered the scene after the initial sexual encounter.

[Elle Fury @elle_fury]

@DerekPederson3 @ShitlibSupreme she felt one way about it, doesn't mean it was accurate.

[Elle Fury @elle_fury]

@DerekPederson3 @ShitlibSupreme Derek, have you never heard of situations where abuse occured and the person being abused thought that what they experienced was normal until someone else told them it wasn't? I haven't looked into this case in detail so not saying I know for sure, but just because initially ppl
