Reminder that the ABA would have given a Not Qualified rating to Joseph Story, who was appointed to the Supreme Court at 32 after ten years of practice. Katie Lane is going to make a fantastic judge and the ABA will continue to be irrelevant.
Hyperpartisan @ABAesq gives soon-to-be Judge Katie Lane a Not Qualified rating. Frankly ridiculous. The ABA can't even identify properly enacted constitutional amendments. No wonder it no longer plays any role in judicial nominations for *either party*
Friends don’t let friends celebrate “President’s Day.” Happy birthday to the father of our country and the indispensable man of American greatness.
“Let us therefore animate and encourage each other, and show the whole world that a Freeman, contending for liberty on his own ground, is superior to any slavish mercenary on earth.” - G. Washington
As I follow the backs-and-forths about American culture and white culture, I keep thinking that the essential analysis has existed for 22 years, written by one of the most brilliant social scientists America has ever produced. Read it!
Katie Lane is a brilliant legal mind and a warrior for all the things that matter. She’ll also immediately become the most fashionable member of Article III. What an excellent pick!
Illegal aliens shouldn’t be on our roads. Neither should anyone who can’t meet English proficiency safety standards. If you see something, say something ⬇️
🚨 I’ve launched the TRUCKSAFE TIPLINE.
If you’re a trucker or work in the industry and see something unsafe or know of shady carriers hiring illegals, I want to hear from you.

Fantastic work by Indiana Senator Banks on getting a strong constitutional conservative confirmed to the District of Indiana. Lots of work goes into judicial confirmations, especially nominees with strong track records
Fetal personhood appreciators may also be interested in a law review article Judge Olson wrote in law school about defining fetal life:

“Anyone can say the right thing. I want judges who have actually done the right thing, especially when it’s hard and unpopular.”
Congratulations to Judge Olson, who’s been fighting for women’s sports and groups like @TPUSA!
Congratulations to Justin Olson on his confirmation to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana! President Trump continues to put up strong nominees who will defend the Constitution.
Daily Federalist quote, this time from #2 (Jay, with the first of five papers):
“Providence has been pleased to give this one connected country to one united people–a people descended from the same ancestors, speaking the same language, professing the same religion, attached to the same principles of government, very similar in their manners and customs, and who, by their joint counsels, arms, and efforts, fighting side by side throughout a long and bloody war, have nobly established their general liberty and independence.”
Tweeting one quote from the Federalist Papers every day, starting with #1 (Hamilton):
“A dangerous ambition more often lurks behind the specious mask of zeal for the rights of the people than under the forbidding appearance of zeal for the firmness and efficiency of government. History will teach us … that of those men who have overturned the liberties of republics, the greatest number have begun their career by paying an obsequious court to the people, commencing demagogues and ending tyrants.”
@AGToddRokita wrote an immigration bill last session enforcing Indiana’s prohibition on sanctuary policies.
Liz Brown blocked the bill.
One year later, she introduces a bill that looks just like Rokita’s but with none of the enforcement mechanisms.
Now she’s giving that bill the same name as Rokita’s (and not mentioning that her bill had to be amended to include those enforcement provisions).
(The best quote from #1 is actually “it seems to have been reserved to the people of this country, by their conduct and example, to decide the important question, whether societies of men are really capable or not of establishing good government from reflection and choice, or whether they are forever to depend for their political constitutions on accident and force.”)
For some people, Indiana University football is just a game. But for Mark and Bridget Rogers, it's the thread that's woven through every chapter of their lives. https://t.co/qlQDS2wkYe
