Sometimes you just adjust to gradual erosion of democracy, so credit to @BroedeCarmody for pointing out that the Victorian Labor government has failed to respond to nine parliamentary inquiry reports within the required six months. There should be consequences. 1/2
Please note that the unfairness and cruelty of #robodebt were always major issues.
We can't believe this needs to be pointed out, but you can't just tidy up the most obviously unlawful bits and then pat yourself on the back for a job well done.

It’s easy to think that the royal commission somehow solves everything. We can name names and prosecute those responsible, while ignoring the schemes that remain and continue to cause harm, aided by the very stigma that allowed Robo-debt to thrive #RobodebtRC
I have no interest in defending the Greens but it would seem to me a grave error to not highlight that debt-collection practices are continuing under the Albanese government. 1/2
Curious statement from Greens about robodebt noting "lack of accountability from the [unnamed] prime minister on down" - then only criticism of Labor & Shorten (who weren't responsible).
I seem to remember a lot of other names that cropped up in the royal commission report!!!
This week young people from across the state made presentations directly to Members of Parliament about issues that matter to them during a unique forum at Parliament House. Read about some of the key points raised: https://t.co/a6swvMBQqb #springst
It's happened. Moira Deeming has been expelled from the Victorian Liberal Party.
