@JohnBoy117 @JadeyPleb @crepycidon@Dr_DeanS@Leaper81 With respect, the NHS is run very much on the goodwill of patient-centred healthcare professionals who work way more than their contacted hours in order to prop up grossly understaffed, underfunded services- often without basic working rights like toilet & lunch breaks
@YodelOnline 4 adults in my house, who’ve been in all day. Your driver didn’t ring the doorbell or knock, but I get notification saying ‘delivered to customer.’ Driver then admits leaving package ‘on front porch.’ I don’t have a front porch. Appalling service & very upset child.
@British_Airways we have booked hotel, flights and Gatwick hotel with you. No alternative options to change flights and customer services won’t answer calls. If we cancel entire holiday and rebook elsewhere, will we get a full refund?
@British_Airways we’re supposed to be flying in 2 days with an under 1 year old. Told today our flight has been cancelled. Can’t change our flights or get a refund online. Customer services won’t take calls due to ‘higher than normal call volumes’…What exactly are our options?
@jfknauf424 @British_Airways So disappointing. We have been trying to talk to someone for 8+ hours now but the phones keep cutting us off. We booked BA for our first holiday because they’re supposed to offer reassurance and quality for families. Won’t be booking again in the future
@DrSarahHelps In the ones I’ve attended barristers have had an email exchange with parties happening in the background. It’s all quite frantic. Also assumes a high level of technological know-how and multi-tasking ability (which I don’t have!)
"Heroes ask for help when they need it. Heroes fight for more just systems that provide resources...Heroes take time off..."
We all need to follow this advice from psychologist Dzifa Afonu - including our team.
Check out this thought piece I wrote for @MINDinMIND_iv. It's time mental health services stop labelling marginalised, stigmatised and excluded communities as 'hard to reach', and start working alongside them to repair our broken system @Partisan_cic https://t.co/5EPhMBuy44
Tonight conservative MPs voted against extending lunch vouchers for school children. Let’s put it another way: they voted for 2.4m children in England to go hungry. Some days my school lunch was the only meal I got. This government is disgusting.
Half a million people are expected to seek mental health services in the wake of COVID-19.
We’re calling on the government to expand and diversify provision of psychotherapies in the NHS to ensure timely access to a variety of quality talking therapies.

@wadhamoxford Absolutely as it should be. It’s outrageous that our most disadvantaged young people have been further disadvantaged by a botched algorithm.
Wadham College will admit all 2020 offer-holders. Those applicants whose courses are now full will be guaranteed deferred entry for 2021. Read the full updated statement from the Warden, Ken Macdonald QC here: https://t.co/LCRCZuxmbY #alevels2020#ALevelsResults

Former @metpoliceuk Chief Superintendent Dal Babu tells @bbcwato more could have been done to stop Shamima Begum's radicalisation "it was an appalling failure in safeguarding".
