I don’t think I’ll ever get over how amazing my job is, being able to take my mum to the Maldives just because I can

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

Didn’t think I was a big swiftie but what I would give to go to the eras tour again is insane

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

It’s 2024 and I’ve got Covid worse than I ever had it before

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

Red eye on itv is so good however as someone who works in aviation the continuity of the aircraft bugs me

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

Forgot what it’s like to go to work and come home on the same day

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

I will forever have a love hate relationship with landing day 😴😴😴

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

24 hours in Barbados and I’m so burnt

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

48 hour bugs are no joke. Finally starting to feel normal and like I can eat something for the first time since Tuesday evening

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

The fact I’ve just booked a safari for Monday is one of the reasons I love my job so much

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

Seeing everyone finish work for Christmas knowing I won’t land home until Christmas Day afternoon proper sucks

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

Being ill on days off especially a weekend is such a waste

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

I’m honestly so grateful for my life and job right now. However there is no nicer feeling then getting into bed when I’ve been up 35 hours

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

The fact I’ve done nearly 50,000 steps in the last 48 hours is crazy. No wonder my feet hurt, get me to bed

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

3 hours sleep in 39 hours. Get me to bed

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

So grateful for my job, being paid to see the world and sunbathe in the Caribbean it’s a good life

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

New York honestly has stolen a part of my heart

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

@aliciaPARISH Me too but another one next week

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

Could’ve been in New York this eve but my flights cancelled 🙄

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

6 weeks of training and exams everyday and it’s now done. Roll on wings day tomorrow

[Ellen @ellen_mcdermott]

Never been to New York and now I get to go twice in April 🤩🤩 cannot wait
