How hard is it for crisis teams to say something like "a part of you reached out to us who wants to stay here so let's try to talk to that part" instead of "you phoned us so you must be fine really bc if you wanted to then you would".
who have really taken time to engage with her. Then you find out this person will not be involved in any on-going or future plans to support her😒 #mental health #bpd#adhd#parentallove
When you get to speak to a mental health professional about your daughter who he has never met but shows more understanding and knowledge of her than most of the people allocated to support her because he has taken the time to read through all her notes and listen to people 1/2
@Auras_Journey I can't imagine how awful it must be to live like that (my daughter is suffering too at the moment and it is so hard to know how to help). You are incredibly brave for sharing and reaching out and that there are good people on here to offer support. Keep going you are so worth it
@ItsEmilyKaty I'm terrified for my daughter who has attempted several times - each time progressively worse but thankfully so far told someone in time - last time taking 96 paracetamol we are so lucky she lived and has no lasting damage but it is not over her intrusive thoughts still there
@flyingawxy The point is that you are an incredibly valuable, worthwhile and loved human being, even if you are struggling to realise that yourself. Hang in there as feelings do pass and the otherside will be better - sending warmest wishes x
This Tweet is dedicated to all the people in the world with mental health problems, especially those in psychiatric hospitals right now

@flyingawxy Thank you so much - I hope you are doing ok at the moment - sending you love and admiration for the strength you must have just to keep going xxx
@flyingawxy My daughter has BPD and has just been sectioned after recovering from an extremely large overdose. She had been doing so well and then lack of proper support seems to have contributed to a relapse in the overwhelming thoughts. She says she "can't do it anymore".
