There were just over 4,000 people at the UCP AGM.
456,000 Albertans signed the Forever Canadian petition.
Literally 100X more Albertans signed Forever Canadian than booed Canada.
2 full orders of magnitude more Albertans.

Can we talk about THIS page for a minute?!?
AHS, while under the direct command & control of Smith and the UCP ACTIVELY destroyed evidence provided to them?
And records were withheld despite Smith’s promises?
The AG comes just shy of calling a coverup!

When asked about the UCP's statement on the last offer by the ATA which said teachers need to expect a deal that is "rooted in reality"...
ATA President Jason Schilling held very little back in his response.

On the eve of the biggest strike in Alberta history, tens of thousands of teachers and their supporters are rallying in multiple communities around the province. Here’s a small section of the crowd outside the Legislature. Danielle Smith provoked this. She will come to regret it.
Today, #ForeverCanadian brought 230,000 petition signatures to Edmonton. Our volunteers will continue collecting signatures until October 28. We need your signature to reach our 300,000 requirement to keep Alberta in Canada.

Iceland is the world’s biggest consumer of SSRIs. They’ve had less than 10 gun homicides since 2020; in the US, there have been over 90,000.
Japan is one of the largest video game markets in the world. They have 10 gun deaths per year; the US has nearly 50,000.
It’s the guns.
This is how it’s done, folks. Never comply with bullies. It just emboldens them. Jasper’s mayor and council are doing all Albertans a favour by standing up to the bully.
This is targeted harassment designed to intimidate a reporter with the intention to deprive the public of access to the truth. It is an attack on not just the free press, but democracy. #AbLeg
Actual doc weighing in on Smith’s “high dose acetaminophen” strategy.
(You can’t high dose acetaminophen unless you have a massive surplus of livers kicking around btw)

On behalf of Alberta’s New Democrats, I want to extend a warm welcome to all attending the G7 Leaders’ Summit.
Welcome to Alberta, and to beautiful Kananaskis!
This summit comes at a time of global uncertainty, but also of great opportunity. Alberta knows a thing or two about both. We’ve seen how progress is built through resilience, innovation, and collaboration—values that are deeply reflected in the work ahead.
The G7’s focus on protecting our communities and our planet, securing energy and accelerating the digital transition, and building partnerships aligns with the challenges and opportunities we face here in Alberta.
Protecting what matters—our environment, our economies, and our communities—requires long-term thinking and a shared commitment to one another.
Around the world, people are bringing bold ideas and shared ambition to the table. We have a great deal to learn from one another, and a great deal to offer.
Our success depends on strong partnerships across nations, sectors, and communities. That spirit of collaboration has brought global leaders here today, and it’s what will move us forward.
We look forward to the outcomes of this summit, and we look forward to building a future that’s better, more secure, and more sustainable for all of us.
@gmacofglebe Carleton resident here. It is infuriating to have the legitimacy of the riding’s collective decision to vote out our obnoxious MP questioned … his role in the convoy sealed his fate as ppl were angry … VERY angry about it and then he ignored that anger.
He earned his defeat.
