@jerrysaltz Visiting Monet's 'Water Lilies' at L'Orangerie in Paris for the first time. His gift to the people of France after Armistice Day in 1919...a place to come and reflect on peace. I hadn't known all that and I was overwhelmed with the grief of war and beauty of the work.
@jerrysaltz 100%. When I realized that monotheistic religions were *new* in human history I was depressed for a couple years about it. It will take a long time to get rid of them, so just try not to get bogged down. As you say, get to work.
When Bobbi Wilson, 9, took it upon herself to hunt for the invasive spotted lanternflies in her New Jersey neighborhood, a neighbor reported her to the police. Months later, she was celebrated in a ceremony at Yale, where her insects will be archived. https://t.co/DR0P92jMtJ
@bartleby_era Lots and lots of exercise. If you enjoy running, you are golden. And water because annoyingly grief is really dehydrating (all the tears).
@dieworkwear Long standing brand names that outlast the person named after are a new thing in human history. Chanel should have ended when Chanel did. Why still put McQueen name on things? Start new companies, have new ideas. Would have to be made illegal bc...corporations.
This morning I told my very white 9 year old son about the #TyreNicols murder and explained it in the best way I knew how bc it's vital he knows what racism does and how to try and be a part of how this bs stops. I hope everyone tells their kids.
