A husband and 12 other men. This isn't just one "bad apple" it is a horrific NETWORK of entitlement and violence against a woman IN HER OWN HOME. Do not tell us we're over reacting when we doubt all men.
A maximum bus fare of £2 will be implemented across the entirety of the West of Scotland, a measure to mitigate the impact of the cost of living crisis, mirroring its current success in the Highlands & Islands.
Well done to the Scottish Gov.
This is THE ART OF THE STEAL….
Kidnap the president.
Install a puppet who serves your interests.
Then have her sign away 20% of the country’s oil.
THIS IS HOW COLONIALISM WORKS‼️
According to GMB on the news this morning, employers are continuing to reject requests for reasonable adjustments from disabled workers.
So, anyone bitching about disabled people not being in work, or complaining that too many disabled people claim disability benefits or PIP, can kindly shut up.
Disability discrimination has always been easy for employers to hide. You can attend an interview with all the necessary qualifications and experience, but if an employer quietly decides that your disability might make you more difficult or expensive to employ, how exactly are you supposed to prove that was the real reason someone else got the job?
If you do get the job, requests for adjustments can be refused, ignored or dragged out for months. Some employers seem more willing to risk a tribunal claim than provide the support that would allow a disabled employee to remain in work.
Feeling let down or ignored in that position is not “playing the victim card”. It is recognising that employers, government and the systems supposedly responsible for enforcing disabled people’s rights are failing to address one of the very things driving people out of employment and increasing their need for financial support.
PIP is not an unemployment benefit, either. Disabled people can receive it while working because it is intended to help with the additional difficulties and costs caused by disability.
You cannot demand that disabled people work while tolerating workplaces that exclude them, refuse the adjustments they need and push them back out again. You certainly cannot then blame those same people for needing support.
EMPLOYERS ARE ALL TOO OFTEN DISCRIMINATORY.
The fabulous Reverend Sue Parfitt has just been arrested at the Just Stop Oil protest outside Parliament to huge applause.
She’s the moral conscience of the UK, standing against genocide, the foul proscription of Palestine Action, and the government’s inaction on climate change.
HORRIFIC
Spain just released a man police caught in the act of r*ping a 22-year-old woman on Valencia’s Malvarrosa beach.
27-year-old illegal Moroccan construction worker. Dawn. He tore her dress off, covered her mouth, and r*ped her on the sand.
Four officers arrived while it was still happening. He ran. They caught him. He punched an officer in the face hard enough to send him to the hospital.
The victim gave a statement at the hospital.
Monday the judge let him walk because she hadn’t been located to “ratify” a formal complaint in court.
Caught mid-r*pe. Walking free the next day.
That is not a technicality. That is a system that treats a screaming woman on a public beach as optional paperwork.
Spain should be ashamed. Every woman in Valencia should be furious.
I briefly stopped at the demo to say thank you to all the brave campaigners who were prepared to be arrested for to highlight our expected #ClimateDisaster
Allowing exploitation of the two oilfields rosebank and jackdaw to go ahead is eco stupidity and utterly reckless. Burnham?
🚨 No more sugarcoating. The UN just confirmed the 1.5°C climate limit is effectively dead. We will breach it within years, not decades. We are officially entering a dangerous "overshoot" era. Current policies track us to a lethal 2.6°C.
What does crossing 1.5°C actually mean? It means a massive surge in compounding weather disasters. We aren't just talking about hotter days, as we are looking at abrupt, unpredictable severe droughts, collapsing ice sheets, and extreme floods happening all at once.
It gets worse. Rising sea levels will trigger permanent coastal submersion, threatening to completely swallow island nations. Simultaneously, brutal severe droughts will collapse global crop yields, causing skyrocketing food prices and widespread shortages.
We are completely unprepared.
When this happened in France it was headline news in the UK for months.
Now it’s happened in the UK and we’re relying on foreign media orgs to report it?
Why is BBC Scotland concealing the fact Labour signed the PFI deal that will cost Scottish taxpayers tens of millions of pounds?
The deal was signed by Donald Dewar in 1998. Why is Labour being protected again by BBC BritNat?
BREAKING: Israel just blew up the public water reservoir in Mansouri, South Lebanon — cutting off the town’s water supply.
Not a military target.
A water reservoir.
Essential civilian infrastructure.
This is a war crime.
This is an act of genocide.
The children of Auchtertool made this video to tell us how they feel about the hyper scale data center planned for our village. Please take a few minutes to watch it.
But this isn't an Auchtertool problem - it's a Scottish one.
The proposed data centre would need roughly half the power currently used by every home in Scotland combined. Who is paying to build all that extra capacity?
It would also swallow huge amounts of water, and take much-needed farming land out of the food chain, which we all rely on.
And to be clear - this isn't about being "anti-Al". A data centre like this powers the everyday: your photo storage, your online shopping, and yes, Al too. The question isn't whether we need infrastructure. It's how we build it safely, and sustainably. And how the people of Scotland benefit from it.
At this scale, the only obvious winner is the developer. It's not obvious what the tangible benefits are for the people of Scotland.
If you think a project this big deserves to be properly thought through, visit our village website to find out more and object.

I just want you to remember. That we live in a world where octopuses dream, otters have a favorite shell that they carry with them all their lives, cows have best friends, and bees have different "dialects" of dance depending on the region. Cats purr at a frequency that accelerates bone healing, the forest grows flowers first after a fire, and dolphins give each other names and respond to them. Penguins make proposals by giving each other the most beautiful pebble
NEVER FORGET!
Never forget that Israeli soldiers disguised themselves as doctors, entered a Palestinian hospital, and killed people.
This is terrorism and a war crime.
Why is Burnham suddenly commissioning firefighting planes but when we asked for them during the Cairngorms Fire in July, we were told a hard no as we don’t have fixed-wing fire fighting assets available in the UK. I’m happy he’s doing it but why not immediately in July?
This is what Israel calls a Palestinian terror attack:
A Palestinian man took his 17-year-old son with him to try to put out a fire Israeli settlers had started in their fields
Israeli settlers shot his son in the neck at point-blank range then kept shooting as he lay dying on the ground
They shot another young Palestinian who was there in the leg, then shot him dead as he tried to crawl away
Israeli soldiers were there the whole time and only started shooting when other Palestinians who were there tried to fight back
This is not “settler violence”
This is genocide
1. Because we do not have the power to print money & run our own economy lile normal nations
2. Because our wealth is channelled to London & we receive pocket money in return
3. See 1.& 2.
Here’s a thought:
Instead of blaming disposable BBQs, how about actually taking on the fossil fuel billionaires driving the climate crisis?
Fund our fire and rescue services properly. Invest in resilience. Stop expanding North Sea oil and gas. Stop backing Heathrow expansion. And stop letting AI data centres guzzle millions of litres of water every day.
Or is it solely just vibes?
