Ac is min £300 for a portable one due to lack of demand. They can boost prices. And we have fans I’ve slept with one for days but still hot

Better at work with both cold and hot. I’m sure a lot of Canadian houses have ac if that’s the case. The uk houses only work on trying to keep you warm. Causes issues

Our houses were built with the cold in mind. They retain heat

Again a lot of houses have historical protection or people live in state owned homes where home edits are heavily controlled. So installing stuff isn’t an option even w/£

Solar panels are again a big investment and not all houses will be able to have them to be installed due to protected characteristics. It’s complex lol

Rent leaves people with not much to live. Job market is awful so people have to claim help, to survive. Heating is extortionate. Old people deciding between heat in winter or eating.
