not to downplay what is happening right now, but genuinely: living in Karachi was a genuine gamble. I didn't realise it then because I'm one of the fortunate ones who doesn't have a personal story to tell, but that level of fear and lack of security of life... was not normal

A surveillance drone can cost anywhere from $500 to $5,000,
while the interceptor missile used to shoot it down can cost millions.

If India is sending dozens or even hundreds of drones towards Pakistan, its objectives are very clear:

1. To locate Pakistani air defense systems — when an interceptor missile is launched, it easily compromises the exact location it was fired from.

2. To use these low-cost drones as decoys in order to waste expensive and limited-stock interceptor missiles — so that by the time a real attack is launched, most air defense missiles have already been used up.

3. To create maximum chaos — forcing the public to question where our air defense system is and what it’s doing.

Therefore... use your head!

Don’t wonder how these drones are reaching so deep past the border. Remember:
Cheap drones are brought down using low-tech air defense measures like anti-aircraft guns, regular firearms, and MANPADS (shoulder-launched missiles).
And — all of these have a limited range.
So, the forces often have no choice but to let the drone get close enough to enter the range of these low-tech defenses before engaging.

Furthermore…
If you hear explosions, stay calm. Not every blast is an attack — most of today's explosions occurred during interceptions.

Also…
The sound of intense gunfire may simply mean that anti-aircraft guns or other firearms are being used to shoot down a drone.

So — avoid creating chaos.

And — absolutely do not post pictures or video clips of these incidents on social media, because doing so would be helping the enemy.

While we mourn the loss of civilians and condemn the Indian Aggression and war crimes we must also open our eyes to the loss of civilian life in Kashmir across the LOC in IOK as a result of cross border shelling. There are children dead on both sides of the border. The images should shock our humanity and remind us we must never thump our chests and crave war while those living around the border pay the ultimate price. There being no proof of Pakistan's involvement in Pahalgam attack Pakistan must take its case to International Forums and seek sanctions against India for its unprovoked attack on civilian areas. India forcefully occupies Kashmir and its people. It will continue to comfortably accept the loss of innocent Kashmiri lives as collateral. Our response should be beyond just military engagement.
