At Health Datapalooza 2025 listening to @AcademyHealth's CEO @aaronecarroll speak. Interesting tidbit: first time in history of conference that no federal officials will be participating.
In our new article in @HSR_HRET w/ @tjanevic@ellerieweber we describe how states' performance on the Medicaid unwinding depended on their capacity and political objectives, which they wielded to either maximize retention or rapidly reduce Medicaid rolls https://t.co/2MJhnJe6wq
@ZelenskyyUa on behalf of the many American people who think you were treated extraordinarily rudely today, let me say I'm embarrased for my country and I'm sorry.
Our new HA Forefront article is out! We dive deep into variation in state Medicaid policy toward pregnant & postpartum immigrants. While much attn has been paid to recent Medicaid postpartum extensions, few have noted that these extensions often exclude (even legal) immigrants.
In their new Forefront article, Annabelle Ng of @IcahnMountSinai + the contributing authors in thread argue that, while Medicaid postpartum extensions mark significant progress in access, these extensions ring hollow for millions of pregnant immigrants. https://t.co/hRszOJsJnW
@AmericanAir You should be ASHAMED of your customer relations. I would recommend people do NOT fly American Airlines if at all possible. I will continue to attempt to reach you until you address my request.
@AmericanAir I have contacted you multiple times about my recent flight & continue to get the run around!!! This flight had 2 different mechanical failures on 2 different airplanes. As a result we were 10+hrs delayed OVERNIGHT. We deplaned at 2am & were told there were no hotel.
Has anyone mapped from ICD-->DRGs? I know CMS has Java based software, and someone seems to have written a python script to do it (on GitHub). Anyone have experience with this?
@MartinSGaynor @HealthCostInst@N_Brennan Every year around this time I think of you and this senseless act of violence. I had just flown into Houston to teach and remember texting to see if you were ok. I am grateful that you were, mourn the lives lost and pray for less hatred in the world.
