// Johan Zedig

The invisble âchildrenâ đ
Aldrig i helvete.
It takes a remarkable level of entitlement to look at ordinary life and see oppression everywhere. With Meghan Markle, even the most ordinary things somehow become evidence of oppression.
Beige.
Meghan wore beige, camel, cream and other neutral colours while she was a working royal. She later explained that she deliberately chose those colours because she didnât want to stand out and because she thought senior royals wouldnât wear them.
Fine.
Except somehow beige then became part of the story of how she was supposedly oppressed by the institution.
And the funniest part? She didnât exactly escape beige when she left.
Was the trauma so deep she couldnât leave the beige behind?
Then there were the pantyhose.
Pantyhose.
How does wearing a pair of nude tights make a grown woman feel âinauthenticâ? Women around the world have been wearing them for decades. It wasnât some uniquely Meghan punishment. And frankly, if she had worn them more often, half of those outfits would probably have looked more polished.
Only someone spectacularly out of touch could turn pantyhose into a symbol of oppression.
And now we have the school run.
Millions of parents, rich and poor, famous and ordinary, manage to get their children to school every morning. They sit in traffic. They wait at lights. They deal with crowds, parking, distance and all the other mundane inconveniences that come with having children.
Yet somehow, with Harry and Meghan, even getting the children to school becomes an extraordinary situation.
How does every ordinary inconvenience become a Sussex-level issue?
Beige becomes oppression.
Pantyhose becomes inauthenticity.
Royal protocol becomes oppression.
Privacy becomes a battle.
Security becomes a grievance.
The smallest things are constantly elevated into evidence of how uniquely difficult their lives are.
There is entitlement. There is being out of touch. And then there is Harry and Meghan.
The expectation that everything should accommodate them. That every inconvenience should be removed. That every criticism should become a grievance. That they should somehow have the status, access, protection and attention of royalty while being answerable to nobody.
They donât just want a comfortable life.
They seem to want a life designed around their importance.
A castle in the sky where the rules donât apply, inconvenience doesnât exist, criticism stops, everyone else adjusts and, apparently, everyone else worships them.
At some point, ânothing is ever good enoughâ doesnât sound like a description of their circumstances.
It sounds like the expectation.
Itâs the demand.
