Looked at twitter for the first time in a while. Was prompted with this twitter anniversary graphic to share. Subsequently it has also been 13 weeks since my husband passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Today would have been our 19th anniversary. Time is weird.
This thread from @heyjenbartel is so accurate. Ugh, Netflix Bebop left me feeling like the live-action Airbender movie did way back when. Disappointed to say the least.
Honestly I wasn’t going to say anything publicly but now that Netflix Bebop has been canceled, I would just like to point out that the main issue was not Ed, or Vicious, but rather that it recreated a piece of media with defined political statements and removed every. last. one.
I am constantly taken aback by the musical and communicative prowess of @amandapalmer. This duet with @rebfountain is mesmerizingly impressive and undeniably harrowing. 💔
i know you want it.
the mashup of "blurred lines" and "rape me" that i created with kiwi indie rock legend @rebfountain is now up.

#Grief does weird stuff to the brain. Like in the moments of loss, logic and comprehension of your surroundings escape you. And if you have the "luxury" of knowing the loss is coming, those preceeding moments are rife with angst and inability to focus.
Most of my action happens on insta, but I want to make sure everyone knows that #freeshipping on my #unicotheunicorn#babyunicorn pin ends tomorrow. I'm starting to run out of the free stickers I've been including too. Check it out in my #etsyshop here:

@post_hummus Thank you 💗 We only had one of the girls tested, but we all have it. Very lucky that symptoms aren't severe, but it's still been a hard week. We think it's the delta variant, since we (the adults) have been fully vaccinated, but you have to get tested at a hospital to confirm.
04/15 - I received vaccine dose #1
05/6 - I received vaccine dose #2
07/21 - We take our daughter to ER with 102+ temp, misdiagnosis is an ear infection
07/23 - Visit pediatrician for second opinion, told ear infection didn't exist, tested for covid
07/24 - Results are positive
Last night I took an aspirin, because my chest hurt. I then had a coughing fit and blew out some of the capillaries in my affected eye. It's not pretty, but that's the least of my concerns.
The reaction I had to the second dose of the vaccine was much worse than how I've felt with covid, but that short lived, less than 24 hours. Actually being infected has left us symptomatic for days.
