Aren’t we all sick of seeing our president get shot at? Four times now and he doesn't back down. In fact, it's reported he's may go back to give his speech. How can you not respect this man for his tenacity to never cower among such evil?
Trump is who you want in your corner.
All I know, is that I’m on the side that doesn’t kill anyone, nor celebrates the killing of anyone, nor fantasizes about the killing of anyone...
…just for winning an election
That’s what side I’m on.
My thoughts on Trumps comments about USA Women's Hockey Team:
1) If you're mad about this but don't believe women should have a category free of men, you're just an unserious person.
2) not going to lie, I face-palmed when I heard it. I knew exactly how it would be spun. I know his humor, but this one missed the mark IMO.
3) Trump is the reason true women's hockey exists. USA women's hockey has just recently voted to ban men from women's hockey (hasn't instituted it yet). Wouldn't have happened without Trump's EO. There are teams with as many as four men on one USA hockey women's team (Minnesota). How can people claim he doesn't care about women's hockey when his EO is the reason true women's hockey will exist at all?
4) it's unfair to disparage the men's team over taking the phone call, going to SOTU, being proud to be an American, etc. They've been incredibly supportive and congratulatory of the women's team. Jack Hughes said Megan Keller's golden goal in the women's game was his inspiration to do the same. Stop trying to pit them against each other.
5) I wish the women would attend Trump's SOTU address. They were invited just as the men were. I think their attendance would've inspired young girls across the country and been significant for the sport of women's hockey. I hope it really was just a scheduling issue they couldn't be there.
6) in general, there's a group of people so anti-America that they genuinely hate patriotism. They don't want unity. They'll use an inspiring sports story to tear down the man in the Oval Office. Y'all are weird. My heart swells with pride for both the men's and women's team.
6) there is still a ton of work needing to be done to protect women's sports and the threats they face (abusive coaches, NIL, adequate funding & resources, etc). I'll continue to use my contacts and platform to advocate for these things and encourage others to do the same.
I have to say—in the last 2 days, I think I’ve seen the gospel shared on X more than I’ve ever seen on social media.
It’s in Charlie Kirk’s videos and everywhere.
Believe in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will have eternal life.
Charlie Kirk’s wife is in this image you see. While some of you mock and celebrate his death, she’s experiencing a level of pain most of us could never imagine. She just lost her husband. Their children just lost their father. A family has been shattered.
Charlie wasn’t just a public figure—he was a man with a wife who loved him and kids who needed him. No matter your politics, no matter your disagreements, celebrating someone’s death is pure evil.
Disagree with his ideas if you want, but don’t forget he was still a human being. A husband. A father. A friend.
If you’re cheering right now, you’re not exposing Charlie, you’re exposing your own lack of humanity.
It is NOT a "both sides" issue.
No assassination attempts on Biden.
No assassination attempts on Kamala.
No assassination attempts on AOC.
No assassination attempts on any other prominent voice on the political left.
No violence from pro-Israeli crowds.
No arrests on the pro-Israeli side.
No calls for death or murder of those who oppose the pro-Israeli side.
Those who oppose gender ideology do not call for the death of those who disagree with them.
Those who oppose movements like BLM did not call for the death of those who took part in the BLM riots.
Social media is not flooded with videos from those on the right celebrating the deaths of those on the left or wishing harm upon them.
It is not a "both sides" issue.
Good morning.
The reason you feel Charlie’s death so deeply is because grief doesn’t measure itself by proximity. It measures itself by meaning. You didn’t have to know him personally to feel the sting of his absence, because when a voice like his goes silent, something in the atmosphere shifts.
The reason it feels heavier than so many other tragedies is because your spirit recognizes that this is not just about a man, it is about a battle. Scripture says eternity is written on our hearts, and when someone who carried truth with boldness is suddenly gone, eternity aches within us. It’s like our souls know instinctively that the darkness celebrated, and that strikes us at the core.
The reason you can’t shake it is because psychologically, we don’t only attach ourselves to people…we attach ourselves to symbols. Charlie became a symbol of conviction in a time of compromise, courage in a time of fear. And when a symbol is struck down, it rattles something primal and eternal inside us.
That’s why even those who never met him feel it. There is a strange thread pulling at us, and it is not imagined. It is real. We are bound together by shared purpose, by shared longing for truth, by the Spirit of God Himself weaving us into a fabric that cannot be torn apart. This loss pulled at that fabric, and every one of us felt the tug.
So if you’ve wondered why this hits so hard, it’s because your soul knows. This is bigger than news. This is bigger than politics. This is about eternity, about truth, and about the weight of a man whose life carried both.
Love y’all.
